The Search Still Goes On

Please continue to keep an eye out for Skippy Lou. Our most recent sightings were those in February at Clovercroft Road and Wilson Pike around the Franklin and Brentwood border.

We believe that she is still out there and we want to get her safely home. Lost pet signs are illegal in the areas where we have had sightings so unfortunately, we can not keep signs up. We appreciate the diligence and kindness of neighbors who watch out for her and who contact us with any and all information. We could not do this without you. Please email or call us with any and all information. Our email address and phone number are listed on the right hand side of this page.

Please see the several photos of Skippy Lou on this page. She is a golden colored lab mix with a white muzzle, liver colored nose and gold eyes and eyelashes. She is medium sized and has short fur. She is not yellow like a yellow lab but is more of a golden retriever color - copper/reddish brown.

Thank you so much!

Recent Sighting

Our most recent sighting was around 10:30 at night on December 26th. She was running across Crockett Road between Arrowhead and Green Hill Boulevard. She was going in the direction of Raintree Forest. We ask that everyone continue to keep an eye out for her in all areas as we do not know what her travel pattern is or how wide of an area she is traveling in. We do know that she is looking for food so will most likely continue to travel a lot.

Please keep an eye out in your neighborhood and in your travels. She may be seeking food that is put out for pets or for wildlife, or trying to access garbage cans near houses and on trash pickup days. She is most likely always looking for a safe place to sleep. She seems to stay pretty close to water sources - usually streams and rivers. She also uses power line easements and railroad track areas to travel. Throughout the past five months, we have had sightings in Brentwood and Franklin but know that she can travel anywhere during her time lost.

We will take any and all tips. Thank you.
